Privacy Policy

Our principle is that we shall collect the minimum amount of information about you that we need to provide our service of helping people to divide up their family assets, and we will pass it to no third party.
This information is primarily an email address for each administrator and beneficiary. We shall treat the personal names that you use for administrators and beneficiaries as though they are real names, but you may use pseudonyms if you wish. We do not collect any other personal information.
We will use the email address for communicating as required by the HeirSheir process but for no other reason. It will not be passed to any third party.
The administrator will need to provide evidence of identity in order to pay our fee, but that identity information  is not passed to HeirSheir and is not, therefore held in our database.
Our software uses session cookies: these are used to keep track of navigation during a session, they hold no personal data and they should be deleted by your browser when it is closed.
You will provide us with information about the assets of an estate. For each item, we collect a name, description, location (normally the room where it is kept), category (such as Jewellery or Furniture),  valuation and optionally a photograph of it. All of this information may be in any language, and the valuations may be in any currency.
You may download a copy of the inventory before and after the allocation process as a csv file. The file post the allocation process will contain the name of the Beneficiary for each allocated item. These files will not contain any photographs.

We will delete this information from our database when the estate has been settled for more than six months.
